![]() I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit edition, iOS 4.3, iTunes 10.1.2.17 , Thank you all for your time, here is my setup & situation, With just 3.8GB free on a 16GB iPad though I hope the space lasts for another year. I know the easy answer is to buy that new 32GB iPad 2 I'm holding off for the iPad 3 though. I just want to find out if what I'm experiencing is normal and if there is a way to add iMovie to the original iPad and not experience this problem everytime I sync to iTunes. I can't do this and have no choice by to authorize, lose iMovie, then redownload imovie to iTunes for free, and then use the iPhone Configuration Utility to add it again. It appears as long as I want to only do a backup of the iPad this way is fine but if I want to change/sync any files such as music, iTunes U, photos, podcasts, movies, etc. It appears once I select cancel it basically cancels the sync at the app part before it gets to files such as music, video, photos, and iTunes U. From time to time though I sync music or iTunes U files. I have tried syncing it a 2nd time also and it still backs up the iPad as soon as I plug it in. ![]() I finally simply selected Cancel and it appears that worked. I was able to download it again for free from the iTunes store though. I finally at a later date simply selected to not authorize and sure enough as it stated it removed iMovie from my iPad and also my iTunes. I do my purchases through my iPad but in this case did it through the iTunes store but in both cases as far as I know it's the same AppleID. I have iTunes on two mac computers but both are under my one AppleID and both my iPhone 3G and iPad use this same AppleID so I don't think it's an issue with two accounts. I go back to the screen that says my computer is no longer authorized for apps installed on the iPad, etc. Including this one, you have authorized 2 computers out of your available 5. If I don't authorize iMovie is removed but if I select authorize it gives me the iTunes login screen with my Apple ID filled in and I just have to enter my Password which I do. I have the option to cancel don't authorize or authorize. If you do not authorize this computer the app 'iMovie" and its data will be deleted from this iPad. Would you like to authorize this computer for items purchased from the iTunes store? This computer is no longer authorized for apps that are installed on the iPad "*****". When I connect to iTunes I get a message that says: I don't have to sync with iTunes often but I like to do it from time to time since it backs up my iPad. It worked perfectly but the problem occurs when I later sync to iTunes. I used these instructions to install iMovie on my original iPad 1.
